It Can Change in an Instant, So Don't Waste Time on Regrets!
Are you doing what you need to be doing in your life? Are you taking care of yourself and really committing to your health and happiness?
Because, in an instant, everything can change. Everything. Your whole world.
In the past two weeks, three different families close to me have been hit with terrifying and sudden news. Illness that seemingly came out of nowhere.
I am not writing this to bum you out.
I am writing this to remind you to live your best life right now.
Tell the people you love, that you love them. Hug your family and friends.
Smile and thank that person you appreciate at the restaurant you frequent. Tell the barista at the coffee shop you stop in on a regular basis, how much you like your coffee or tea.
Do all the things that you keep putting off because you "don't have time." Make time. This is it. This is your life, right now, this minute.
Make time for extra sleep and healthy foods so that you will feel better NOW.
Make time to go see that movie you have been wanting to see and to call that friend you have been meaning to call.
Start figuring out a way to go on that vacation and begin reading that book that you know you will enjoy but you keep putting off starting.
If you find yourself saying, "I don't have time...." about anything, stop and think.
First, think about whether or not you really want to or have to do it.
Secondly, if you do still feel as if you want or have to do it, figure out why you aren't doing it. What is stopping you? Figure out a way to do it. (If it something you are dreading, but you still have to do it, stop ruining the present by putting it off. Just get it done for goodness sake!)
Because you know what? In order to enjoy right now, and the future, you have to focus on making right now the best that it can be.
If you take care of right now, and enjoy right now, there will be no regrets.
There will be happiness that you did everything you could to enjoy your life. Nothing to regret there.
